How the program works
Step 1
School Selected
We select schools to partner with and receive our program at no cost for one school year. Once selected their students receive our 12 week program. In addition, we provide a PD for teachers.
Step 2
Facilitate Lessons
Our instructors provide in school sessions with students, each week in person they facilitate a lesson… Students are placed in teams of 4-5 and volunteers work alongside them and mentor throughout the process.
Step 3
Pitch Competition
We host a pitch competition at the end of our program. It's an expo where students showcase the skills they have developed throughout our program. Students win prizes and they receive a LEADCITY YOUTH success kit. Our team, volunteers, and the community all join to celebrate students during the event.
